Cultural Interventions and Oral Heritage

To preserve the Palestinian identity, NAWA Playgrounds offer specialized activites in collecting the oral heritage in Deir Al Balah.

Art Services

Youth and teenagers learn the arts that express freedom and thoughts through the graffiti course, which introduces them to the history of graffiti, its implementation methods and how to choose the appropriate colors and ideas for each design. They learn how to mix dancing letters and expressive drawings to allow the spectator to see a speaking masterpiece. Youth and teenagers participate in activities related to reusing and contribute to community initiatives that create a positive change, strengthen the values of community volunteering, leave a positive impact on their spirits and make them feel a sense of responsibility. Among the initiatives are cleaning the streets surrounding the Playgrounds, paint and plant the Playgrounds, draw educational games on the grounds and participate in building plant basins from recycled material.
